Terms and conditions of sale

1. Parties and scope

These terms govern all distance sales concluded through this online shop between Stamperia Bertozzi S.r.l. (the "Seller") and the customer (the "Customer"). Where the Customer qualifies as a consumer, the mandatory provisions of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree no. 206/2005) and of Legislative Decree no. 70/2003 on electronic commerce apply and prevail over any conflicting clause.

2. Pre-contractual information

The essential characteristics of each product, its total price inclusive of taxes, delivery costs, delivery times, available payment methods, the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee are set out on the product pages and on the pages linked in the footer, which form an integral part of these terms.

3. Formation of the contract

The display of products constitutes an invitation to treat. The contract is concluded when the Seller sends the Customer an order confirmation by e-mail, containing a summary of the order and a copy of these terms on a durable medium. Orders can be placed in [TO BE COMPLETED – Italian / English]; the contract is archived by the Seller and remains accessible to the Customer in the customer account.

4. Prices and taxes

Prices are expressed in [TO BE COMPLETED – EUR / USD]. For EU consumers prices include VAT; for shipments outside the EU prices are net of EU VAT and import duties and taxes apply as described on the Shipping, duties and payments page. Where a price reduction is announced, the Seller indicates the lowest price applied in the previous 30 days, in accordance with Legislative Decree no. 26/2023 (Omnibus Directive).

5. Availability

Products are made in small hand-printed batches. If an item becomes unavailable after the order is placed, the Seller informs the Customer without delay and refunds any amount already paid within 14 days.

6. Payment

See the Shipping, duties and payments page. Ownership of the goods passes to the Customer upon full payment; risk passes to the consumer upon physical delivery.

7. Delivery

See the Shipping, duties and payments page. Delivery to EU consumers takes place within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract unless a different term is agreed.

10. Product safety and labelling

Products sold in the European Union comply with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on general product safety. Manufacturer identification, care instructions and fibre composition under Regulation (EU) no. 1007/2011 are shown on the product label and on the product page. For the U.S. market, textile products are labelled in accordance with the FTC Textile Fiber Products Identification Act and the Care Labeling Rule, and are marked with their country of origin ("Made in Italy").

11. Reviews

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits the Seller's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. Where the Customer is a consumer resident in the EU, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country of residence remain applicable and the competent court is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile. 14. Amendments
